Keep Moving

Change is fearsome, but stagnation is lethal.  Walk that extra block.  Pick up the gardening tools instead of the remote.  Dust off that bike in the garage and put a few miles on it.  Busting out of routines can be a shock to the system but the benefits to the body can be impactful.

Keep Learning

The dog is too old to learn new tricks is not a fact, but an excuse.  Take that beginning piano course.  Grab a bottle of wine and try out that painting class.  Don’t rely on your nephew to program your phone, research it and figure it out yourself.  Keep those neurons firing and keep that mind primed.

Keep Exploring

Your back patio is great, but it shouldn’t be the extent of your world exploration.  Reach out instead of withdrawing.  If your passport is ready, go for it.  If not the airport, then your car.  Try your city with fresh eyes.  A different restaurant.  A park you’ve never walked.  New experiences are fuel for an invigorated state of being.
